Turkmen cuisine combines meat dishes, soups, fresh vegetables, and seasonal fruits. Meals are simple, hearty, and often shared with family and guests.




Traditional flatbread, known as churek, is served with almost every meal and is freshly baked in clay ovens.
Many restaurants offer a mix of Turkmen and Russian dishes, usually accompanied by rice, potatoes, salads, and fresh herbs such as parsley, coriander, basil, and dill.
